Some dogs truly embody the spirit of resilience, defying all odds to triumph in the face of adversity. One such remarkable story is that of Miracle, a pup who literally clawed back from the brink on a perilous highway.
On an ordinary night, volunteers from the Kartavya Society were making their way home after a tiring day. Little did they know, a shocking sight awaited them on a bustling highway. There appeared to be a dog lying still, with cars narrowly avoiding him. It was a heart-stopping moment.

Astonishingly, not a single passerby had stopped to help or remove the dog from harm’s way. For the volunteers, allowing the dog to remain in danger was not an option. Their initial intention was to give him a dignified resting place. But events took an unexpected turn.
As one of the volunteers approached Miracle, the dog showed signs of life. Despite being run over repeatedly, he was still breathing—a scenario that seemed nothing short of miraculous, as his rescuers later shared on social media.

Without hesitating, they rushed him to the veterinarian, recognizing that in such situations, time is of the essence. Miraculously, although Miracle had suffered a severe head injury, he was not paralyzed nor was his life in immediate danger. Thanks to the prompt actions of his rescuers, Miracle was in safe hands, starting a journey towards recovery.
The tale of Miracle is indeed exceptional, and the fact that it was captured on camera makes it even more credible. Today, Miracle is making strides in his healing process, nestled in foster care with those who saved him.

The bond with his rescuers has grown beyond rescue as they have embraced him as a new family member. “We’ve decided Miracle will never return to the streets,” they shared, his joyful demeanor only reinforcing their decision. “His smiling face has captured our hearts.”
Miracle’s journey from tragedy to a loving home serves as a powerful symbol of survival and compassion. He now enjoys the life he deserves, cherished and secure in a place filled with love and safety.
