Yellow’s tale is a bittersweet blend of deep sorrow and delicate hope. Rescuers discovered her in a dire state: severely undernourished, suffering from mange, and covered in open wounds, evidence of her difficult past. Abandoned in a remote area, she sought refuge among rocks and shadows, her frail body bearing the scars of prolonged neglect.
Despite her youth, Yellow had already learned to be wary of her surroundings. Whenever someone approached, she instinctively shielded her head, preparing for possible harm. Her behavior revealed the severe mistreatment she had endured, leaving deep emotional scars. The rescue team, moved by her plight, was committed to finding her, and when they did, she curled up defensively, as if trying to vanish.

They named her Yellow, signifying the hope they were determined to instill in her. However, her struggle for survival was just beginning. In critical condition, every second counted in her fight for life. On her first night at the veterinary clinic, she managed to eat and drink a small amount—a modest yet significant step toward recovery. But even in a safe environment, Yellow was too frightened to make eye contact and could not eat in the presence of others, her protective instincts still very much intact.
Her caregivers showed unwavering patience, hand-feeding her when she was unable to eat willingly. Gradually, she began to trust them, taking cautious steps towards healing. Her physical wounds were being treated, and while her spirit remained delicate, she was resilient.

Yellow might not yet fully comprehend the kindness extended to her, but those dedicated to her wellbeing are persistent. Her road to recovery will be an ongoing journey, yet each minor triumph leads her closer to the joyful life she deserves. With love and constant care, she is slowly discovering a world where she no longer needs to hide.
