One such story involves a dog that was nearly condemned to a gruesome end. This unfortunate animal was sold into the hands of butchers, confined in a sack among blood and filth. Treated like an object, the dog endured unimaginable horror. However, fortune changed when Michael Chour intervened. Immediately purchasing the dog, he ensured its safe passage to the Angkor Veterinary Clinic for initial care.
Following this initial rescue, the dog was taken to an animal shelter where further attention was given. The next step was a temporary transfer to a shelter in O Smach, Cambodia, allowing for a thorough health assessment. Ultimately, the dog was destined for The Sound of Animals’ expansive sanctuary in Ban Kruat District, Thailand.
