His journey began when he was discovered, utterly exhausted, at the base of a bridge. In a pitiful state, Louis was thin, weak, and severely afflicted with scabies, losing most of his fur.
His bare skin bore painful, scabby sores. Seeking comfort, he sheltered beneath a car and eventually passed out there. We quickly reached out to help, wrapping him in a blanket and rushing him to the nearest veterinary clinic.
Upon arrival, Louis was given urgent medical attention, including a vital infusion of medicine and nutrients. In addition to his skin issues, he suffered from digestive troubles and malnutrition.
Thankfully, Louis showed an appetite, possibly experiencing a proper meal for the first time. With a voracious hunger, he embraced the nourishment he so desperately needed.
Under the attentive care of the clinic staff, Louis’s health began to improve swiftly.
Day by day, Louis received careful medical treatment, including medications and soothing baths. Gradually, his skin healed, the scabs disappeared, and his fur began to regrow.
After six weeks of consistent care, the scabies were almost completely eradicated. Louis emerged as a friendly and affectionate dog, showing his gratitude to his caregivers.
Two months later, Louis underwent a stunning transformation, becoming not only healthy but incredibly handsome.
This period marked a pivotal moment when he was adopted by a compassionate man who seemed to be a perfect match for him right from the start.
