Amid the piles of trash glinting under the evening sun, she spotted a small yellow puppy—barely 45 days old—scavenging for food.

Surrounded by filth, the puppy’s bright blue eyes still held a quiet hope.
Overcome with emotion, she sat beside the puppy and gently offered some snacks she had in her bag. The puppy began eating eagerly, its eyes filled with trust and gratitude.
Worried that it may have ingested something harmful, she brought the puppy to a nearby veterinary clinic.
Thankfully, the checkup revealed no major issues, and the vet administered vaccinations to protect the pup’s health moving forward.
Back at home, she gave the puppy a long-awaited bath. As she gently scrubbed away the dirt, she felt an overwhelming joy watching the little dog relax in the warm water.
With each rinse, the landfill began to fade from memory.
She named the puppy SaLa and welcomed her into the family. SaLa now enjoys clean fur, good meals, and all the love she was once denied.
Together, they’ve created a new chapter—one built on kindness, trust, and the joy of a second chance.
