Scarlett Johansson and her husband, comedian Colin Jost, are anticipating the arrival of their first child together, according to a report from Page Six.
This marks the first child for 39-year-old Jost and the second for Johansson, 36, who shares a six-year-old daughter, Rose, with ex-husband Romain Dauriac.

A source close to the couple revealed, “Scarlett is expecting soon, and both she and Colin are overjoyed.”
Despite her prominent role in Marvel’s Black Widow, Johansson has kept a low public profile, fueling rumors about her pregnancy as she has missed various promotional events for the movie.

Although Black Widow—a significant release for Marvel and Disney—was expected to include substantial promotional appearances by Johansson, her involvement has largely been limited to virtual interviews.
For instance, during her June 21 appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, she participated via Zoom, showing only from the shoulders up.
Johansson’s absence from key Black Widow events has been noticeable, particularly at the world premiere fan gathering in New York, which her co-star David Harbour attended.

A recent film screening in the Hamptons saw Johansson and Jost maintaining a low profile. However, locals noted that the couple often spends their summers in Amagansett and Montauk.
Johansson and Jost’s relationship began in 2017 after she hosted Saturday Night Live. Their public debut came later that year, and in May 2019, Jost proposed with an 11-carat diamond ring.
The couple married in October 2020 at Johansson’s Palisades, New York, home in an intimate ceremony.
They announced the wedding through Meals on Wheels’ Instagram, highlighting their desire for a meaningful celebration.
Reflecting on the wedding, Johansson shared with People that she wanted a small, intimate gathering that allowed guests to feel safe under COVID-19 protocols.
She said, “The intimacy of it gave it a purpose. We wanted a feeling of closeness without feeling bound by restrictions.”
Johansson’s prior marriages were to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011 and Dauriac from 2014 to 2017.
While jokingly downplaying his involvement in wedding planning, Jost expressed his joy in marrying Johansson, noting that finding the right partner meant more to him than planning the “perfect” wedding.
Johansson’s new film, Black Widow, directed by Cate Shortland, will be released in the UK on Wednesday and in the US on Friday, July 9.
