A Lexington, Kentucky, husky named Sebastian recently found himself in a rather unusual predicament, sparking a dramatic rescue mission.
Animal Control officers were baffled when they received a call about a dog trapped in a bank.
Upon arrival, they discovered Sebastian, not inside the building, but rather stuck beneath the road, peering out through a small crack in the concrete.

“We don’t know how he got there,” a representative from Lexington-Fayette Animal Welfare and Control told The Dodo, “But we suspect that he got in through the drain pipe and could not figure out how to get out of the way he got in.”
Despite his underground ordeal, Sebastian remained in good spirits, which was a relief to the rescuers. They quickly got to work, removing the drain cover to create a larger opening.

The Lexington Fayette Animal Care and Control team even shared a lighthearted post on Facebook about the rescue, joking, “[Sebastian] has always wanted to meet the Ninja Turtles!
But instead, he came face to face with two animal control officers!” With a little coaxing, Sebastian emerged from his subterranean adventure and was soon back on solid ground.

After his rescue, Sebastian was taken to the animal control facility, where staff contacted his worried family. Overjoyed to learn their beloved pet was safe, the family rushed to pick him up.

Meanwhile, Sebastian, seemingly unfazed by his escapade, happily made new friends at the center. “He was rescued and enjoyed his stay,” the representative added. “I will do it 100 percent again.”
