In the heart of Richmond, Virginia, is Eris, a charming Borzoi sighthound who has captured hearts worldwide with her extraordinary feature – a nose holding a Guinness World Record.
Living alongside her devoted humans, Lily and Savannah, Eris’s journey into fame began two years ago when she was welcomed into their family.

Eris’s distinctive trait, her nose, stretches an impressive 12.2 inches, surpassing the length of an entire foot.
This remarkable feature often prompts double takes from onlookers, drawing attention wherever she goes.

Lily and Savannah find themselves frequently approached by curious passersby, eager to learn more about the dog with the remarkable snout.
“We get stopped a lot because people want to ask questions or know what kind of dog she is,” shared Lily in an interview with Bored Panda.
“She’s also a huge personality, so many of our neighbors know who she is, and she just loves saying hello to them!”

Originating from Russia, the Borzoi sighthound breed, known for its swiftness, is often called a wolfhound in its homeland.
While they resemble greyhounds, they possess distinct qualities, notably their tranquil demeanor, making them excellent companions.
Eris’s magnetic presence extends beyond the streets of Richmond; her Instagram account boasts an impressive following of over 240k admirers eagerly following her daily adventures.
