A heartwarming video has captured the endearing moment of two elephants enjoying a dip and quenching their thirst together in a pool at a sanctuary in Thailand.
The footage, taken at the Samui Elephant Sanctuary in Koh Samui, features the elephants named Kham San and Kham Pang as they affectionately share the pool.
The filmmaker, Ryan Emmerson, explains that Kham San was rescued in 2017, while Kham Pang was rescued in the middle of the previous year.

Since then, the two have become inseparable best friends. Emmerson points out that elephants typically prefer to bathe alone or with other elephants, engaging in natural behaviors such as splashing, rolling, and covering themselves in mud.
Emmerson adds that the presence of people in the water can stress the elephants and inhibit their natural behaviors.
