Recently, caregiver Owen treated the Jabulani herd members to a delightful mud bath. Khanyisa and Timisa took the lead, thoroughly enjoying themselves as they playfully covered their bodies in mud.

Pisa & Somopane, two other herd members, stood nearby, caring for the young ones as they frolicked. After the muddy fun, Owen guided the herd to a nearby dam, where they washed off the dirt in the cool water.

Khanyisa and Timisa continued their playful antics, joyfully swimming together. The rest of the herd relished the refreshing bath, happily submerging themselves in the water.

In the background, Sebakwe and Mambo engaged in a friendly sparring match on the dam’s banks, adding to the lively atmosphere. Meanwhile, Khanyisa, full of excitement, tried to climb on top of Timisa during their playful swim.

Zindoga, Pisa, and Sebakwe joined in, creating a delightful sight of elephants swimming in the dam’s middle. Limpopo couldn’t contain her enthusiasm as she splashed around in the water.

As the day unfolded, the elephants eventually made their way out of the water, with Limpopo playfully nudging Zindoga while leaving the dam. However, the joyous herd couldn’t resist returning to the depths of the dam for more aquatic merriment.
